My gf and I joined a gym a couple months back. So far I've just been running on the elliptical to improve my cardio and drop some weight. Couple nights ago I broke out the weights for the first time in a long time. Yesterday I was mostly ok, but today, my biceps are not happy at all.
Yes, I'm a little girly man.

I'm with you there. I started working out again last week. I feel GREAT but my god, the soreness.
The worst are the two days after leg day. I can barely walk. And what happens when the soreness goes away? That's when leg day comes around again!

supplement with other weight exercises to reduce the soreness. Also stretch and don't use too high of weights in the beginning.

DOMS usually hits around 48 hours later. If it's just your biceps take it easier on curls and rowing motion stuff for a little bit.

I squat every day at the gym so every day is leg day. Thus leg soreness is my life.

Try doing 10-15 mins of cardio after your weight workout to relieve soreness.
